Northern IL Tea Party meeting 6/25MEETING LOCATION WILL BE KNOWN ON 6/18.: The normal third Thursday Northern IL Tea Party meeting will move to Thursday June 25th, 6:30 pm.  The Dinesh D’Sousa film, “America: Imagine the world without her,” will be shown.  The film is the 6th highest grossing political documentary of all time.  Look for announcement of meeting location.

Someone once observed: “America is great because she is good; if she ever ceases to be good she will cease to be great.” Today, that notion of the essential goodness of America is under attack, replaced by another story in which theft and plunder are seen as the defining features of American history, from the theft of Native American and Mexican lands and the exploitation of African labor to a contemporary foreign policy said to be based on stealing oil and a capitalist system that robs people of their “fair share.”

Our founding fathers warned us that, although the freedoms they gave us were hard fought, they could very easily be lost. America stands at a crossroads, and the way we understand our past will determine our future. America the movie takes 21st-century Americans into the future by first visiting our past.

IST-AWF: I am sorry that I have not been very responsive lately to your Emails. I have been somewhat under the weather since my doctor informed me that I have an acute case of Post Islamic Stress Trauma with Apologetic Whitehouse Fatigue (PIST-AWF).  For those of you who do not know what that is:  PIST-AWF is a newly defined disease that is found to be widespread and highly contagious. Doctors at the CDC released a statement disclosing a new disease that has already infected over half of the United States and is anticipated to continue to spread. The disease itself affects the cells of a person’s entire body then goes dormant. The disease ravages the body and leaves serious side effects. These side effects have been labeled as PIST-AWF.  Symptoms include:   * Severe pain of the scalp from pulling your own hair while viewing your president pander to Muslim terrorists.                                                                                                           * Loose bowels from swallowing the fact we elected Obama twice.

* Extreme hunger due to vomiting from nightly seeing terrorists murdering innocent people.  * Bleeding from the eyes. This is not Ebola. It is your eyes reacting to accidentally flipping to a channel that shows Al Sharpton as a legitimate news show host.  If you feel you have Post Islamic Stress Trauma with Apologetic War Fatigue, please notify your local election board and place your name on the list for a cure. It is expected, and sincerely hoped, that the cure will be available in November of 2016.  Meanwhile The Surgeon General has announced there is no strategy as yet for this disease plaguing a majority of US citizens which is now in its 6+ year!

Honor Flight of Northern & Western IL is looking for just TEN MORE VETERANS to go on the THREE DAY Honor Fight scheduled for August 20-22, 2015.

We give priority to WWII and Korean War veterans and will accept Vietnam veterans on a case by case basis. Honor Flight of Northern & Western IL is noted for conducting three day Honor Flight trips.  We do this because it is easier on the veterans. As with all Honor Flights, each veteran must be accompanied by a guardian who is typically a family member or close friend.

Vets and guardians stay together in hotel and enjoy a banquet that evening; Day 2 – Aug 21^st:  Day of Honor.  Leave hotel at 9 am on touring bus.  Travel to Washington, DC and visit 10 military memorials.  Attend dinner that evening at American Legion Post 40 in Baltimore, MD.

Then back to the hotel. We Are Not Spirits, Witches – Albinos: Albinos in Cross River State  (South Africa) have appealed to members of the public not to stigmatise or see them as spirits or witches.

State Coordinator of Albinism Foundation, Mr Bassey Mbang, made the appeal in Calabar while speaking with journalists.

He said to see them as such was wrong as they were ordinary human beings. While calling on the state government to recognise them, he emphasised the need for a clear cut policy on albinism.

“In government offices, it is a challenge to secure a job. Some people see albinos as wizards and witches. We suffer discrimination and stigmatisation. We need the government to recognize us. It is difficult for us to survive as albinos,” Mbang said.

He added that the foundation was embarking on mobilization and sensitization of people across the state on the status of albinos. – Displayed with permission from allAfrica.com

Patrick Stewart Backs the Beleaguered Bakers Crucified by Liberal Media: Occasionally even a Hollywood insider can use his brain and come to logically sound conclusions. Such is the case with Patrick Stewart, who recently came out in support of the Christian owners of Ashers Bakery in Oregon, who were recently fined for “discrimination”:

Stewart argued that nobody should be forced to write specific text that they disagreed with.

“It was not because it was a gay couple that they objected, it was not because they were celebrating some sort of marriage or an agreement between them,” said Stewart. “It was the actual words on the cake they objected to. Because they found the words offensive.”

He continued: “I would support their rights to say no, this is personally offensive to my beliefs, I will not do it.”

The text to which Patrick Stewart referred was “Support Gay Marriage” underneath a picture of Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street. It’s pretty amazing how this whole thing transpired. If you think about it, what kind of a wedding cake is this, anyway? I would think most heterosexual couples, even ones who are very much opposed to homosexual marriage, would not use their wedding as a political soapbox.

CNN Anchor Calls Dallas Attack “Brave” – A CNN anchor had a surprising assessment of Saturday’s Dallas shooting. The network’s Fredricka Whitfield was speaking to CNN legal analyst Philip Holloway when she offered words of praise for the driver of an armored van who opened fire outside of the Dallas police department’s headquarters. The driver was killed by a police sniper.

“It was very courageous and brave, if not crazy as well, to open fire on the police headquarters, and now you have this scene, this standoff,” Whitfield said.

Holloway responded by saying: “I think the Dallas police did an excellent job handling this situation, and we’re very fortunate that no one other than the suspect was injured.” A CNN rep did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Small Brown Bottle: The other day I went over to a nearby CVS Pharmacy. When I got there, I went straight to the back of the store to where the Pharmacists’ Counter is located

I took out my little brown bottle along with a teaspoon and laid them both onto the counter.

The pharmacist came over smiled and asked if he could help me

I said, “Yes!  Could you please taste this for me?

Being I’m a senior  citizen…I guess the Pharmacist just went along with me

He picked up the spoon and put a tiny bit of the liquid on his tongue and swilled it around

Then with a stomach-churning look on his face he spit it out on the floor and began coughing

When he finally was finished, I looked him right in the eye asked, “Now, does that taste sweet to you?

The pharmacist, shaking his head back and forth with a venomous look in his eyes yelled, “HELL  NO!

So I said, “Oh thank God! That’s a real relief!  My doctor told me to get a pharmacist to test my urine for sugar!

Well, I can never go back to that CVS, but I really don’t care though, because; they aren’t very friendly there anyway!
